In the period from May 16 to May 20, 2022, the EdNet Agency conducted a training "Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)" for methodologists of the National Center for Advanced Studies "Orleu" (Republic of Kazakhstan). The training was held within the framework of the UNESCO project "Integrating sustainable development into the education system of Kyrgyzstan and strengthening international cooperation in the sub-region of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan)" with the support of the Estonian government.

The training was also attended by representatives of the RIPKiPPR under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, who shared their experience in implementing ESD in Kyrgyzstan.

The objectives of the training included studying the basic concepts and developed modules of ESD and designing an adapted version of the advanced training program for the conditions of the advanced training system for teachers in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The training was positively evaluated by the participants of the training. In the course of providing feedback, the participants noted the relevance and importance of ESD topics, the need to include lessons on ESD in schools in order to form students' values.
