From 10 to 14 August, the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education "EdNet" is conducting an online training workshop "Education for Sustainable Development" as part of the Country Initiative for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) (ESDfor2030), implemented in partnership with Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of UNESCO Almaty and funding from the Japan Trust Fund (JFIT).

The goal of the country initiative is to expand the geography and coverage of ESD in schools through the development of education for teachers in ESD to help improve the quality of education in schools and transfer the values ​​of sustainable development to the younger generation.

This training seminar is conducted for school teachers of the Kyrgyz Republic (from Talas, Issyk-Kul, Batken and Jalal-Abad regions) and representatives of regional methodological departments in 2 languages: Kyrgyz and Russian.

One of the directions of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education "EdNet" is to conduct trainings and refresher courses aimed at introducing innovations and improving the quality of education.

This training seminar will be held for the second time:

1.In 2020, the training was held by schools of Chui, Osh, Naryn regions.

2. In 2021, schools are held in Batken, Talas, Issyk-Kul, Jalal-Abad regions.
